Betina Durovni, M.D. - THRio Principal Investigator

Dr. Durovni received her MD degree from Escola de Medicina Souza Marques, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1985.
A infectious diseases physician and Coordinator of the Transmissible Diseases Program for the Health Secretariat of the City of Rio de Janeiro, Dr. Durovni also acts as a senior consultant in the National Brazilian DST/AIDS Program and the National Tuberculosis Program for the Brazilian Health Ministry.
Dr. Durovni's research activities focus on Colective Health, emphasizing HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis Epidemiology.
