Helen Ayles, Ph.D. - ZAMSTAR Principal Investigator
Dr. Ayles is a clinical epidemiologist especialized in Infectious and Tropical Medicine with a special interest in HIV and TB. She currently works in Lusaka, Zambia, coordinating the Zambart (Zambia AIDS related TB) project.
Besides being the principal investigator for the ZAMSTAR study, Dr. Ayles also coordinates work by ZAMBART for the TARGETS and EFA consortia (DFID), STAMPP Project (EU) and run several studies of new diagnostics for TB funded by FIND (Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics).
