Lois Eldred, Dr.PH - CREATE Project Director

Dr. Eldred serves as Director of Policy and Advocacy for CREATE, The Consortium to Respond Effectively to the AIDS/TB Epidemic. From 1983-1988, she served as Clinical Director of the Multi-Center AIDS Cohort Study, a prospective study of the natural history of HIV in homosexual men.

From 1999- 2007, Dr. Eldred served in the Director of HIV Primary Care Programs, and later, HIV Model Demonstration Programs in the US Department of Health and Human Services (HRSA). She worked with the PEPFAR program from 2005-2007. She is a physician assistant and holds an MPH and DrPH from Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health in Health Services Research and Health Policy.
